Oracle Forms Designer has stopped working

Step 1: Install Oracle DevSuite 10.1.2.0.2

Step 2: Install Patchset 5983622 to upgrade DevSuite to version 10.1.2.3 (this upgrade is needed in order to do step 3)

Step 3: Install Patchset 7047034 to fix the crashing problem in the Forms Builder. (installation instructions are provided in the patchset)

Important Note: The Patch won't take any effect if the version has not been upgraded (Refer Step 2)

Download the Patchset and follow the steps as said below (Steps to Apply Patch on Windows)

Go to Command Prompt à Run as Administrator

Step 3.1: (Set ORACLE_HOME)

set oracle_home=C:\DevSuiteHome

Step 3.2: (Set Path)

set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\OPatch;%PATH%

Step 3.3: (Navigate to the Directory where the Patch set was downloaded and Extracted)

cd C:\Users\Bijoy\Downloads\7047034\p7047034_10105_WINNT\7047034

Step 3.4: (Apply Patch)

opatch apply
